UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROGRAM
Interested in exploring the cutting-edge fields of neuroimaging and neurostimulation? Join the Yonsei ABC Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant (RA) and gain hands-on experience with advanced research tools and techniques.
What You’ll Gain:
Hands-On Experience: Work with state-of-the-art neuroimaging tools (such as fMRI, fNIRS, EEG) and neurostimulation devices (including tDCS, tACS, tRNS, and more). You'll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these technologies, learning how they’re used in brain research.
Workshops and Seminars: Participate in workshops and seminars focused on analysis techniques relevant to our research. You'll also have access to detailed manuals and resources to deepen your understanding.
Mentorship and Support: Assist graduate students in their experiments and learn about graduate programs and lab life through direct mentorship. This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with experienced researchers and gain insight into advanced study and research careers.
Design Your Own Experiment: After completing basic training, you'll have the opportunity to design and conduct your own pilot experiment if desired. You’ll receive guidance and feedback on experimental design, analysis methods, and research techniques.
Who Should Apply:
We recommend that students apply as RAs starting from their junior year (3rd year) or later.
Participation through the Psychology Department’s research practicum course is also available, allowing you to earn academic credit for your work in the lab.
Important Note:
Participation as an RA is an invaluable learning experience, but it does not guarantee admission to graduate programs.
If you’re passionate about brain science and eager to get hands-on research experience, we encourage you to apply. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of brain research and develop skills that will be valuable for your academic and professional future.
